Introduction

Fishing is a good way to earn money, easy to train, and good if you need food. Many players are buying lots of cooked and uncooked fish for high price. Normally, a fishing spot have two options, such as "lure" and "bait", "cage" and "harpoon" and so on.

Other items that can be fished

When you use a big net, you may get more than just fish. You need level 16 to use big net, so you need level 16 to get these items. Fishing spots where you can use big nets are found in Catherby and the Fishing Guild.

	Leather Boots	These boots gives you +1 slash and +1 crush defence bonus.
	Leather Gloves	These gloves gives you +1 slash and +2 crush defence bonus.
	Seaweed	Used in Crafting to make glass.
	Casket	You recieve 10 fishing experience, when you obtain a casket. When opened, you can get half key, gems, talismans, coins etc.
	Oyster	Normally empty, but you can get Oyster Perls.

Small Net Fishing
	Needed level: Level 1 - this is the first tool you can use. Needed tool: Small fishing net. Where: South of the bank in Al Kharid, Karamja, Catherby, South of Draynor Village, Thai Bwo Wannai and other sea spots. Fish that you can catch: Shrimps, Anchovies, Karambwanji (Tai Bwo Wannai)

 

Sea Bait Fishing
	Needed level: Level 5 (Sardine) Needed tools: Fishing Rod and Fishing Baits. Notes: For each fish you cach, you will use one bait. Where: South of the bank in Al Kharid, Karamja, Catherby, South of Draynor Village and other sea spots. Fish that you can catch: Sardine, Herring

 

Big Net Fishing
	Needed level: Level 16 (Mackerel) Needed tool: Big fishing net. Note: When fishing with big net, you may cach other items than fish. Where: Catherby, the Fishing Guild Fish that you can catch: Mackerel, Cod, Bass. In addition, you can catch other items. Click here for more info.

 

Fly Fishing
	Needed level: Level 20 (Trout) Needed tools: Fly Fishing Rod and Feathers Note: You will use one feather per fish you cach. Where: Lumbridge, Barbarian Village, North of Ardougne and other rivers. Fish that you can catch: Trout, Salmon

 

River Bait Fishing
	Needed level: Level 25 (Pike) Needed tools: Fishing Rod and Fishing Baits Note: For each fish you cach, you will use one bait. Where: Lumbridge, Barbarian Village, North of Ardougne, Mort Myre Swamp and other rivers. Fish that you can catch: Trout, Pike, Slimey Eel (Mort Myre Swamp)

 

Harpoon Fishing
	Needed level: Level 35 (Tuna) Needed tool: Harpoon Where: Karamja, Catherby, Fishing Guild, Entrana, Rellekka and other seas. Fish that you can catch: Tuna, Swordfish, Shark.

 

Lobster Fishing
	Needed level: Level 40 (Lobster) Needed tools: Lobster Pot Where: Karamja, Catherby, Fishing Guild, Entrana, Rellekka and other seas. Fish that you can catch: Lobsters.

 

Karambwan Vessel Fishing
	Needed level: Level 65 (Karambwan) Needed tools: Karambwan Vessel, Raw Karambwanji Where: North of the crashed glider on Karamja. Fish that you can catch: Karambwans.
