The Mithril dragon has a melee attack (max hit 28), ranged attack (max hit 18), magic attack (max hit 18) and firebreath attack (max hit 57). It will not use its ranged attack if the player is within melee distance. It is not recommended to use melee against it due to its high melee attack and extremely high defence against melee.
An Anti-dragon shield or Dragonfire shield is strongly recommended. Players should also have antifire potions and teleport runes to escape if needed.
The most common way to attack the dragon is by using ranged attacks against the dragon. It is recommended to wear good magic armour while using the protect from missiles prayer.
The Mithril dragon is currently the strongest dragon in RuneScape.
